Henk van der Merwe is the Director of OZXchange Migration; a Grafton based Migration Agency dealing in visa applications for employers, migrant families, investors and students.

Henk has a Master of Business Administration from Southern Cross University, a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law from Murdoch Law and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Philosophy and Geography) from the University of Pretoria. 

Henk holds professional memberships with:

•      The Australian Institute of Management

•      The Australian Human Resource Institute [Chartered Member]

In his immediate past position as Chief Executive Officer of the Clarence Valley Business Development Board Ltd, Henk implemented a sustainable funding regime to the organisation; implemented a diversification strategy to deliver new product/services to regional customers and through these programs, contributed to the Clarence Valley economy. 

Prior to moving to Grafton, Henk had significant business experience in the beef abattoir industry in Queensland focussing on sustainability and integrated environmental management systems.

A migrant from South Africa, Henk moved to the Northern Rivers district to raise his young family and enjoy the spectacular lifestyle the region has to offer.
